Part One: Sun Salutations and Standing Poses
The Ashtanga Primary series is a set sequence of postures that
creates a great foundation for a beginning student. In Part One of this
series we will focus on learning the Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar
A and B) as well as the basic standing poses. You will understand the
alignment principles, learn how to get into and out of the posture
safely, and have modifications for beginners.
